Odoo's built-in reporting is capable but generic: pivot tables and graph views that you configure yourself, every time. A dashboard module trades that flexibility for immediacy — the questions are pre-answered. The point of this comparison is to identify which set of pre-answered questions matches your role.

What all four have in common

They read existing Odoo records, so there is no data migration and nothing to synchronise. They are filterable by period, and every tile or chart drills down to the source documents in a standard Odoo list view. And they all run on Odoo Community — none requires an Enterprise subscription.

Open Sales Dashboard — for revenue owners

Answers: how much did we sell, is it growing, what sells, who sells it, and where. Its distinguishing features are month-over-month and year-over-year growth computed for you, and revenue broken down by customer country.

Choose it if your recurring question is about revenue and commercial performance. Full documentation.

Open Purchase Dashboard — for procurement

Answers: what did we spend, with which vendors, and what is still unbilled. Its distinguishing features are colour-coded stage tiles for purchase requests and a billing status analysis that exposes the gap between ordered and invoiced.

Choose it if you manage suppliers and cash commitments. Full documentation.

Open Inventory Dashboard — for warehouse operations

Answers: what is moving, what is stuck, and what is late. Its distinguishing features are the ready / waiting / late transfer counts and lot and serial traceability figures.

Choose it if your day is shaped by transfers rather than by orders. Full documentation.

Open User Dashboard — for administrators

Answers: who is connected, what did they do, and from where. Its distinguishing features are the online users panel, session duration estimates and IP-address filtering, plus its own security groups so activity data is not visible to everyone.

Choose it if you are responsible for an audit trail rather than for a commercial figure. Full documentation.

When the bundle is the right call

Open All Dashboards installs all four and adds a unified tabbed menu. It is worth it when one person genuinely looks across domains — an operations manager, a business owner, a controller reviewing revenue, spend and stock in the same sitting.

It is not worth it when only one domain matters to you. A sales manager who will never open the purchase dashboard should buy the sales module alone.

Frequently asked questions

Do these dashboards require Odoo Enterprise?

No. They depend on Community applications — sale_management, purchase, stock — and the base web client.

Do they duplicate my data?

No. Each dashboard reads existing records directly. There is no synchronisation step and no second copy to keep consistent.

Can I buy one now and add others later?

Yes. They are independent modules. Installing the bundle later simply adds whichever ones are missing.

Can I drill down from a chart to the actual documents?

Yes, in all four. Tiles and chart segments open the matching orders, transfers or log entries in a normal list view.

Which Odoo versions are supported?

Odoo 18.0 and Odoo 19.0.
